It was quite a rollercoaster ride for Peter Darlington today. He was chip leader a few times, and short stack a few times as well but he always managed to stay alive.
Darlington had just over $50k USD in winnings going into the game today so this is certainly his biggest cash. It was his fourth win on the live felt, and while it probably won't quite push him over $100k on Hendon, he'll be very close.
Mal Hagan had a steep hill to climb tonight heads up against Peter Darlington. He was at a chip deficit the whole way, though he managed to chip up to 2:1 down a couple of times.
The final hand saw both players limp to a flop of where Mal Hagan check-called for 300k. The
came on the turn and Hagan checked again, but this time shoved over the 600k bet from Darlington.
Darlington snapped it off and had two pair with against Hagan's
for top pair. The
was a brick and Hagan had to settle for second tonight.
Mal Hagan just got a double back to about 7 million again after getting chipped down to under 3 million. He raised to 550k and Peter Darlington called to see on the flop. They both checked to the
turn where Darlington shoved.
Hagan took a second before calling off for his tournament life. His ace-king was ahead of jack-five for Darlington and he hit a king on the river just for good measure.
They are heads up now after Chase Cromwell took 3rd place, though I was outside for a break and missed the action. Peter Darlington is now leading heads up against Mal Hagan, but they've taken a short break before the heads-up phase.

Mal Hagan was short after the break after getting into a huge hand with Peter Darlington just before the break. He got one shove through with no resistance, but a few hands later he shoved his bog blind over a raise from Chase Cromwell. Cromwell called for essentially a race between ace-jack for Hagan and king-queen for Cromwell. The board missed both so the ace held and Hagan doubled up to about 2.5 million.

There are just four players left in the 4-Flight now after Tang Jooce hit the rail in 5th place. I missed the action while I was getting pictures of the Seniors final table.
Peter Darlington limped the small blind, and Mal Hagan checked his option to the flop. Darlington fired 150k and Hagan called to the
turn.
Darlington bet 300k and Hagan flatted to the river where Darlington bet 800k. Hagan made a quick call, mucking his hand when Darlington showed six-deuce for the riverboat.
Bogdan Szafranowicz was the 6th place finisher tonight, though I missed the action as I was updating info on the other games in action today.
They are down to six players left now after Zeyu "Skytrain" Huang lost a race to finish in 7th place tonight.
The flop of was already out when Bogdan Szafranowicz bet 150k from the small blind. Tang Jooce called from the big blind to see
on the turn. Szafranowicz fired 240k, but then tank-mucked when Jooce raised it up to 625k.
Zeyu "Skytrain" Huang raised to 250k from the hijack and Tang Jooce called from the button, as did Mal Hagan from the big blind. The flop came and Hagan checked. Skytrain bet 350k which Jooce called before Hagan put in the raise to 1.1 million. Huang folded quickly, and Jooce followed suit after a bit more time.
Peter Darlington opened early to 275k, then called when Mal Hagan shoved for 1.88 million. Hagan was on queens against the pocket sevens for Darlington and neither player hit the board, keeping Hagan's ladies in front.

It was blind on blind when Tang Jooce limped, then called after Peter Darlington raised to 300k. The flop came and Jooce check-called for 400k. Both players checked the
turn and Jooce fired 800k on the
river. After a bit of time in the tank, Darlington gave up his hand.
They are down to 7 left now after Terry Langdon hit the rail in a cooler. He'd been nursing a short stack for a while and finally looked down at ace-queen under the gun. He shoved, but Tang Jooce, two to his left, woke up with ace-king and reshoved.
The rest of the table got out of the way, and Langdon was drawing thin. The flop of gave them both Broadway draws, reversing their outs, but the rest of the board bricked out and Langdon was forced to settle for 8th place.

They are down to 8 left on the final table now after Adam Crockett lost his chips shortly after the dinner break ended. Crocket flatted the big blind with aces after Bogdan Szafranowicz raised the cutoff. The flop was queen-jack-six and Crockett led for 225k, then shoved when Szafranowicz raised to 525k. Szafranowicz called with queen-jack, and Crockett bricked the rest of the board for his 9th-place finish.

The players are just moments away from their dinner break now with the end of Level 26. I'll grab some chip counts during dinner and action should resume again in about 45 minutes.
I arrived at the table with action on the flop reading . Tang Jooce checked to Peter Darlington, who fired 360k. Jooce called to the
turn where he checked again, then tank-called when Darlington shoved 1.36 million.
Peter Darlington:
Tang Jooce:
Darlington was ahead with the two pair, and the was a brick for Jooce, who was looking for a jack or a paired board on the three or ten.
They are down to 9 left now after Josh Myers got it in against Peter Darlington with Darlington barely covering him. Myers was dominated with ace-sic against ace-eight and Darlington hit his 8 to secure the win.
They are down to 10 left now, on the final table, after C)">Kyle Kamachi bubbled the final 10. I'll grab some pictures of the final ten shortly.
They are down to 11 players left now, on the bubble to the 10-handed final table. Roger Frederick and Michael Baldwin were the most recent casualties to get them to the bubble.
Meanwhile, Terry Langdon chipped up a bit after he raised preflop under the gun and saw a flop of heads up against big blind Deven Lane. Both players checked the flop, but when Lane led the
turn for 150k, Langdon came over the top to 350k to force the fold from Lane.
The board was already out reading with a pot of more than 1 million in the middle when Mal Hagan shoved from the big blind, sending button Peter Darlington into the tank for a bit. He eventually elected to much his hand to send the pot to Hagan uncontested.
It looks like Deven Lane and Zeyu Huang are the chip leaders right now with both players sitting on about 3 million.

Gail Flaherty had a very short stack of just 75k at the break, and she was all in shortly after they returned. Chase Cromwell had her in trouble with a turned ace, and she was off to the cage for 17th place money.
The remaining 17 players are now out for another break with the end of Level 23. I'll grab some stacks on the break for the final 17.

They are now down to 27 players and redrawing for the final three tables. I've had a quick look around at the stacks and it looks like Tang Jooce is the leader with a bit more than 2 million. Deven Lane looks to be on about 1.4 million while Gail Falharty is on about 1 million and DJ Sharma is one of a few players that are just below the seven-figure mark.
There are 28 players remaining in Day 2 now with just under 10 minutes to play in Level 21. After the next elimination, they'll redraw for the final three tables.
