17 players got paid on Day 1a, with 9 more moving through to Day 2. Below is a look at the Day 1 cashers, but I won't be updating in the backend as there is no facility to put in multiple payout sets. However, the results from each day get sent to Hendon Mob and WSOP, and players who cash on a Day 1 will be credited on their live poker resume for it. Typically, the results are collated into a single payout list ordered by payout size with Day 1 cashers coming in under however many players cash Day 2.

I have Day 2 seats for these players as well, but they'll be posted with the rest of the Day 1 seats when Day 2 is fully set.
The opening flight of the four-flight is complete now with 9 players advancing through to Day 2 at the beginning of Level 19. I'll update all the Day 1 payouts and Day 2 players once the Mix game finishes.
Here is a look at the Day 1a payouts tonight. As noted, some of the spots higher than 9th may still move on to Day 2 depending on how late they play. I'll add names to the grid and repost as the payouts come in later tonight.

The prizes have all been calculated for Day 1a and the field topped out at 167 entries. There are still 54 players alive and 26 players will get a piece of the prizes tonight with at least 9 advancing to Day 2 by the end of the night. They'll bag up after Level 20 at the latest, however, so there may still be more than 9 left by then.
I won't be updating the payouts in the backend for the Day 1 flights of this, but I'll keep track of the Day 1 prizes with my spreadsheet tables and post as they come in.
Day 1a of the 4-Flight is up to nearly 150 entries now with prizes for the day approaching $50k. Level 6 is nearly complete, and there are two more levels, plus a 15-minute break until entries close.
Day 1a of the 4-Flight is up to 133 entries now with 90 players still at the felt. Entries are still open for about 2 hours so the field is sure to keep growing.
I won't be following this game very closely today as I'll be busy watching Event until late tonight, but I'll try to keep up with numbers and get the Day 1a results posted after the game ends late tonight.
There were 100 entries on the board to start Level 3 today for prizes of $33,000.
Event #3: | $400 4-Flight ($330 + $70) |
Date: | Day 1a: Aug 8, 2024, 4 pm |
Blinds: | 30 Min |
Start Stack: | 20,000 |
Late Entry: | 8 Levels (~3:30 pm or ~8:30 pm) |
Day 1 Ends: | 20 Levels or 5% (~3 am or ~10:30 pm) |
It's time for the first flight of the ever-popular 4-Flight. Traditionally this is the biggest field of the series by quite a bit and past iterations of this game have blown past 1,500 total entries so expect this to be a big one.
The opening flight kicks off at 4:00 pm on Aug 8 and they'll repeat the Day 1 action three more times, on Aug 9 at 11 am and 4 pm, and again on Aug 10 for the final flight at 11 am. Players get 20k in chips for their $400 and play half-hour levels throughout the game.
Entries are open for 8 levels on Day 1, which should mean entries close around 3:30 for the early flights and 8:30 for the later flights. Day 1 plays for 20 Levels or until they hit 5% of the starting field, and this is a Day 1 pay event, meaning that players who finish from 15% - 5% in the Day 1 flights will get paid some cash as they exit the game. Day 1 flights that go the distance will finish at about 10:30 pm for the early flights and 3 am for the late flights.
I'll be following the early flights of this game on Friday and Saturday, but likely the later flights won't get much coverage until near the end of the day.
