Day 1b had 31 players moving through to Day 2 after a final field of 263 entries. That puts the combined field so far at 436 with prizes of $660,540. Richard Mullen from South Surrey, BC bagged the big Day 1b stack of 840k, but that's still less than Ashkan Razavi's nearly 1 million from 1a. $1k winner Sunny Lubana bagged stack #2 with 716k while Hong Kong's Chun Kwan, who had a very good series here in May, bagged 641k for third.
A total of 9 players got paid out on Day 1b before the bags came out. Day 1b payouts are below while the full stacks moving to Day 2 can be found under the Chip Counts tab.

They are in Level 11 in the Main Event Day 1b now with entries at 259 for 1b and 432 across both days so far. That puts the combined prizes at almost $655k with about an hour left to enter today's flight and a full flight to play tomorrow.
Day 1b is on dinner right now with three levels of entry following the dinner break. There are 250 entries on the board for 1b which makes the 2-day total 423 fro $640,845 in prizes so far. Those numbers will still increase a bit before the end of entries, but based on the numbers so far, at least 38 players will get a piece of the prizes later, and at least 25 will advance to Day 2..
Level 3 is just complete and they are on their first break of the day in the Main. There are already more players in 1b than 1a got in total, so it looks like 1b will be a nice one. There are now 177 entries on the board at the end of Level 3 fro 350 combined and total prizes of more than $530k.

It's time for the big show! Thursday's Day 1 saw 173 entries, a little smaller than expected. That put 26 players into the money in the end with 20 players moving forward to Day 2. The Main this time is bagging at the end of Level 17, or at 10% of the starting field -- also note that Level 17 is a one-hour level.
Ashkan Razavi is a regular visitor here from the left coast, especially for WSOP Circuit time, and he's often seen with a big stack in the Main and/or the High Roller. Today was no exception as he was miles ahead of the competition with almost 1 million in his bag. 2nd place Alex Liu is more than 400k back with 539k and Ryan Smith and DJ Sharma also have at least half a million in their bags. Khaly Dang was close but only managed 472k for the 5th stack. Full Day 1a stacks and cashing players can be found under the Day 1a tab with full stacks under Chip Counts, and the Day 1a payouts in one of the most recent posts on that day.
Players start the day with 40k in chips with Day 1 blinds at 40 minutes, bumping to 60 for Day 2. There are 12 levels of entry on Day 1 with the final shot at entry around 8:30 pm. Players are limited to a single rebuy for the Main, so use your bullets wisely.
I likely won't have eyes on the first two flights of the Main as there are Day 2 games running both Thursday and Friday that I'll be watching, but my main attention should be firmly focussed on the Main for Day 1c (with a bit of extra bandwidth for the Ladies, I hope).
