The Tag Team game is over with Ken Kanada and his teammate James M taking the win for $2,805. They took it down heads up against Marcel Dusyk and Rob McKenzie, with Terry and Tammy Langdon in third and Rob Lothian with partner Andrew taking the final paid spot in 4th place.
This game played out while I was in the Social room watching Day 1b of the Main Event, so I wasn't able to catch any of the action but the final results are below.

The Team event has 32 teams now with action in Level 6. Entries are open until the end of Level 7 so the desk will shut down in a bit more than 25 minutes.

It's time for the Tag Team event, which is basically a night of drinking and fun disguised as a poker tournament. Two-player teams will compete with teammates swapping out every level. Teams get 5 "Switch Tickets" to start the game and they can be used to swap out with their partner or force another team to switch between hands.
The game kicks off at 6 with 20k start stacks and 20-minute blinds. Entries and reentries are open until the start of Level 8, which should be around 8:20 pm if the game gets off at exactly 6.
I'll mostly be focusing on Day 1b of the Main Event today, so this one won't get much coverage until later, if at all. Day 2 of the Main kicks off at 1 on Sunday, and I want to be sure I'm not here too late tonight so I'll have to gauge how the team event looks to be running once the Main bags, and make a decision then about whether I'll stay or go.
